foul mood bye-bye

yesterday my day started off foul. i was in a pissy mood for no reason. then, i smiled. i spent the afternoon with a friend who made me forget the reasons i "didn't" have for being in a bad mood. thank you sachia!!!! then i ate chocolate. then i came home with the kids and found a couple of cards in the mail, toffee that charmaine had made and had her husband drop off "at my doorstep" (from el segundo). thank you charmaine!!!! then i got a box in the mail with a huge candle and chocolates and a friendship book and gum, and another card - all the way from georgia. thank you sheryl!!!! and i was in a bad mood because, why?

i started the day eating chocolate. had it mid day. ended with the toffee after i had brushed my teeth in an effort to not eat anymore for the day. didn't work.

ian and i stayed up late watching re-runs of kath & kim on his laptop in bed. so romantic.

i think my new favorite show, after last night, is, 30 rock. i love slap stick humor.

the kids are off today so i think we will go to a bookstore, in an effort to not spend money, per ian's request. and, i will continue to read magazines without any barf interruptions.
