it's a web day

i'm home spinning my web - making my home orderly and clean and trying to not go to target and spend money...or anywhere else for that matter.

i was thrilled to have a gal come over and talk to me about remodeling the kitchen! when ian will give me the green light to do that... i'll never know, but i can dream and wish and beg and work my magic, can't i?

so i've been sitting at this computer for 2 hours now, checking my mail, facebook and vacation rentals. then i began to check out websites and blogs and decided i needed to post a blog because i don't feel like getting up to do anything. i'm cold, lazy, and never have a day to myself to chill out.

i was blog hopping the other day and came across this delicious site: www.thesweettoothfairy.com and of course, yes, it is in provo, utah!!! i loved checking out all the cupcakes on their flicker site and then all the flavors they do...bubble gum...seriously?! i'm gonna go here for sure the next time i go to utah!

when ian and i went to london i frequented this cupcake place just down from our hotel. they were big and sloppy and french made and sooo delicious.

for lauren's bday in jan., i must say, i made some very good cupcakes....lemon with a hint of choc-o-lot! i will be making those again for easter.

i must go now. i have laundry and dishes and calls to make. i hate working!
