It's all about me...

I got the fever now and i'm on it...so, before it's not "in" anymore, i'm bloggin'. i thought i'd jump right in with some funny facts about me. many of you know this stuff and many of you don't. it's all just random and not in any particular order. have a good laugh or not. i think i'm gonna like this bloggin'.
well...i love the color purple and have since i was 4. i love mexican food and every single kind of baked good. for a year now i've indulged in chocolate and find that if i can't have a glass of wine each night to calm my nerves, i'll be damned if i can't have chocolate! i love, love, love my girlfriends and my life long good friends that are (or were once) boys. i was shabby chic way before it had a label. as a teen i was a vintage junkie and had an all white room. i got white leather scriptures at age 16 and some 25 years later they are sooo shabby chic! actually i don't really go for all the pink and florals. um....my favorite all time movie is "the bird cage", but we don't keep that foul languaged dvd in our home...it's in the garage! i also love the movie "orange county". i love bling. not too much and not trampy bling - just a little for the sparkle and oooh's. what else? i'm so not into sports, neither is ian. but, he does love sking and i hate it. i'd rather eat cow testicles and sip hot chocolate in the lodge. i love watching ellen... she reminds me of myself - likes good music, knows how to bust a move - people - i love to get down, and surrounds herself with humor. i really love shoes and my favorite store is still Nordstroms...champagne taste, beer budget. i hate a dirty house. love to garden. am in touch with my creative side. don't think it's necessary to shower everyday. hate yellow toe nails. trim my nose hairs. must use hair gel - duh! will never be caught dead in a bathing suit that doesn't have an attached short skirt - no one needs to see my cellulite butt or my "old" tummy, as ethan puts it - thanks kid. i love my wedding ring, still. i want a little cottage beach home where i can bask partially naked in the sun...ya right! a piece of my heart is still in georgia. i want to go to italy and france before i die. when i do die i DO NOT want an open casket -there's no way in hell i can trust that my hair, makeup, and outfit will reveal a somewhat typical looking me and i don't want to know that anyone said, "oh my gosh, she looks freaky without hair gel, and her nose pores are huge, and she looks horrid without earrings - i always wear earrings! keep it closed! i have a gutter mouth. i'm not proud but those words just slip out. just the other night at family prayer time lauren prayed "please bless mommy to not cuss any more". ya...please bless me. my all time favorite group is U2 but i love rock, r&b, and 80's KROQ tunes. i love to entertain and have parties. i don't like being the center of attention. i love wearing jeans and a t'shirt. i'll be honest, if i weigh more that 125, i go on a diet. i can't be too skinny either or my nose looks too big for my face. i yell a lot. i'm mexican and irish, what do you expect? i finally love my curly hair. i've accepted the fact that my bells palsy isn't going anywhere anytime soon...some 11 yrs later. oh, i like to wear perfume too. i love to listen to dennis prager on talk radio in the morns. i think i'm going deaf. i wear a padded bra - who needs to spend 10k when you don't have to? i miss my mother-in-law terribly. i like my feet. i could never be a vegetarian. by the way...any recommendations for great hamburgers - and do not tell me in-n-out!? i wish i had more time to go to yard sales. i'm proud to say that i have taught my kids to love reading! i've never been "waxed". i love to be one on one with people - i have a need to connect and love to have verbal intimacy. i took a lot of psychology in college. i majored in business but, i didn't finish. and, when i do, it won't be in business. i like design now. ian wants me to go back. whatever. i struggle just to help my kids with their homework! i will, one day. one day i will do many things, go many places, and see many more people. until then...it's just another day. hey, that's one of my favorite boingo songs!
