It's tuesday

guess who finished all their oatmeal for breakfast? yup - it was mom. decided i'm so not done with purple and summertime. but first i will share the day. i was distracted by purple this morning. so that means the kids were entertaining themselves with barnyard, shrek and making their own movies. whenever they complain of bordom i tell them that it induces creativity. well evan was done with being bored and waiting for me to make him a smoothie so he got out the blender and made his own! need i remind you he is 5 yrs. old. upon finding him i asked what was in that blender and he said rootbeer, cactus cooler, strawberries, pineapple, and 2 gogurts - strawberry and cotton candy flavors. it turned out.....well....it was a pretty shade of purple. he loved his smoothie.
went to bed last night at 1am still thinking of summer and purple. woke up still wanting to take photos of summer and purple. but, i got carried away with purple. the above are shells we've collected from everywhere and these starfish are just decor. they're just beachy and i love beachy.

the above are some purple vintage i have. lil' tea light holder. ring i had made for myself after i had lauren. my shabby scriptures that are all marked up with purple too. and this is a door i loved in george town about 8 yrs ago.

in france i fell in love with the beautiful colors in the "nipply" art. letter b magnet. my absolute favorite - hydrangas. this is my vintage velvet jacket i've had for like 20 yrs. doesn't everyone need a purple spatula for the kitchen?

picked up windows for some home projects we're starting. yipeeee! another daily trip to target. bike riding at the park. food shopping. just another typical tuesday. the kids love summer! me too. and i love purple.

song of the day: "cornflake girl" by tori amos. on my playlist.
