Another 40 yr old

this past weekend my brother gabe turned 40! considering his history this was a major celebration of life in our family! we ate and laughed and hade the bestest red velvet, dark chocolate cake - ever made! (i know this isn't the best photo)

so i was watering the yard yesterday and caught 2 butterflies "in the act". i felt i should give them some privacy but then i decided that if they're bold enough to "do it" in public then i was gonna get some shots of them close up. as you can see, they "do it" in a "backwards" position. don't try this at home folks.

i must say they were really gettin' it on because they were there for over 2 hours. now "that's" a good time...not that i was watching them or anything...
