HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

This may very well be what the house will look like tomorrow morning!

we have to admit that we feel very blessed at the close of 2008. i don't like to send a Christmas letter out anymore because it seems like they start sounding like brag letters and sometimes all i want to see is a photo of the family, not hear about how each kid can accomplish 50 million things, or how mom and dad have matching new bmw's, or the new 6 thousand sq. ft. house or that some husband is hooked on viagra and some wife just got new boobs - size "mm" for "mighty mamsita's"! come on now!
well instead of the Christmas form letter i'll just do a new year's post...
Christmas in salt lake was white and beautiful! we had the time of our lives. the kids went sledding and the dad's ski'd and the mom's shopped and baked and cooked. what a life. we didn't miss home, not once! even our dog daphne had a pal to hump, i mean, hang out with. i will post all the details later this week - after s.l.c. we drove to arizona to see ian's family. that was great too. we saw all his siblings and parents and i loved just hanging out. boy was it nice to not be at home for 10 days. no laundry, dishes, food shopping, cleaning, cooking, or yard work. i got up when i felt like it and went to bed when i was tired. ooooh, what a life - thanks ya'll'!
