it's saturday and i'm still sick in bed. my week started out with a whole different plan than the circumstances i find myself in now. but, whatever.
the great thing about being sick in bed, if there is such a thing as "a great thing" when you're sick, is that i can lay here with my lap top (the best gift my hubby ever gave me ~ besides his sperm from which we have 3 lovely children...) sorry to be so graphic...anyway...as i was saying, so i can lay here in bed with my lap top and read, read, read.

and i've also spent hours here: http://www.kissthegroom.com/ where i have rediscovered a love for weddings, love, creativity and talent. i swear i spent 3 hours on it on thursday and i read every single post on it!!! i should be either ashamed or proud. i was enlightened.

i discovered a maker of lovely, yet modern, things that i actually like. i'm not a "mod" by mode but i really like some of their stuff. the maker is "roost" and i found some of their holiday stuff on sale at a boutique in south pasadena. i love these silver pop-out snowflakes which i think i'll get.
but even more, i love, love these saint lucia ornaments by roost too! of course i can not find them anywhere. maybe it's better. i don't need to be shopping for Christmas anymore! but i really, really want them. i would hang them in our windows in december. lovelyness.
