don't do a 10k on a whim.
i went running last monday, my usual 3 3/4 miles (which i really only do once a month or so) and had been feeling really bloated and fat so i forced myself to do the course again which equal'd a 10k. my legs were soar and i had a migrane the rest of the day and had to nap but it felt good and was motivating. so...
i did it again this past monday and after i had come home and showered i felt like i had just given birth to evan again (who was my 10 pound "i'm gonna die in labor!!!!" baby). i'm thinking i need to ease my way into such torture, but it was a good feeling at the time.
