Silent auction time

well i mentioned that you need to keep the az. family in your prayers in the last blog. now, if you would like to contribute to the cause you can go to my favorite blog: http://www.roomsomewhere.blogspot.com/ where leslie is having a silent auction for the next couple of days. all the proceeds will go to the family. i checked out each item and the sites for each one and i'm amazed at the talent and generosity these folks. i wish i had a handmade gift to offer for a donation but since i don't i realize my contribution will come in the form of a purchase - if i don't get out-bid!

there is another silent auction taking place tomorrow on design mom's blog. i think "roomsomewhere" has a link to it on the right column somewhere... i am inspired by the willingness and effort of so many people. it's so heart warming to see charity in action. i think that it's always easier to give than receive but if you know what it means to be a giver, unconditionally, then you know it's just as much of a blessing to equally be a receiver.

i'm thinking maybe i could donate these?...
vintage hand cloths from oregon that i made into...
little pillowcases for a dolly, or crib, or a very tiny head to lay on. they measure 13"w x 9"l.
we'll see... o.k. so leslie did add them on so go to her blog and bid!: www.roomsomewhere.blogspot.com also go to: www.designmom.com for some AWESOME items up for auction - too many to see and decide on but the list is amazing...happy bidding.
not a great photo but the edge is old gingham material. note too that as these are "vintage"...that means "well worn" with some ageless beauty!
